Half-Day. Nyoirin-ji Temple-Zao-do


This route boasts a rich natural environment.

- Grilled fresh-water fish in summer.
Kamo Nabe(or duck pot dish) is delicious in winter.

- Don't forget to bring home local sweets made from Yoshino-kuzu. Pickled cherry blossoms give you nice flavor when you have them in the hot tea.

Jidai Parade( The Parade of the Ages) marches from Chikurin-in to Zao-do on April 11/12. Kaeru-tobi Parade on July 7. Autumn Festival in Mid October.
